Three new public art commissions are being developed by The Line with support from the London Borough of Newham’s ‘Connecting to Opportunities’ programme. A display of the proposals and the story of their development will be on display at the House Mill Café* between 15 September and 8 October.
The site-specific artworks have been developed for key locations near to Cody Dock and the River Lea in Newham. Referencing this unique area of London at a key moment of change, the works proposed reflect on the ecology, culture, and heritage of the lower Lea.
*Please note the House Mill Café is open on Saturday and Sunday between 11am-4pm.
