London Sculpture Week

Back

London Sculpture Week celebrates the city’s creative spirit by transforming public spaces with outdoor works from a diverse range of artists.

Over nine days, the programme includes free tours, performances and workshops that explore how sculpture connects people, place and public life – how it speaks, remembers, protests, plays, and dreams.

Launched in 2022, London Sculpture Week was created to bring the city’s leading public art programmes together for nine days of discovery. It gives Londoners and visitors alike a chance to experience the breadth of sculpture across the capital, from world-class commissions to hidden gems.

Our Partners

London Sculpture Week is made possible by four major public art programmes, each contributing their unique perspective on London’s streets and spaces.

Frieze Sculpture transforms Regent’s Park with striking outdoor works by contemporary artists.

Mayor of London with Fourth Plinth & East Bank. The Fourth Plinth is one of the world’s most important contemporary art commissions, inviting internationally renowned artists to create new work for Trafalgar Square. East Bank, based in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, is the UK’s newest culture and education district, where major institutions and communities collaborate to present ambitious cultural programmes and new public art.

Sculpture in the City places contemporary artworks among the architecture of the City of London, encouraging discovery in unexpected corners.

The Line is an outdoor exhibition programme that guides audiences along East London’s waterways, connecting art, nature and heritage.

Together, these programmes create a citywide celebration of public art, offering moments of surprise, reflection and delight at every turn.
