The Line’s outdoor exhibition programme features over 20 installations along the route that connects Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and The O2, following the waterways and the line of the Greenwich Meridian.
In addition to our exhibition programme, we focus on collaborative engagement projects that support local communities to discover East London’s art, nature and heritage for free.
2025 marks the 10th anniversary of The Line. Over the previous year, we have delivered some of our most ambitious and exciting installations and engagement programmes to date.
In 2024, we launched our first two co-commissions developed with local residents. 96.3% of visitors surveyed agreed that The Line makes experiencing art more accessible. We welcomed hundreds of students, educators and school children on The Line, and our youth employment programme has continued to evolve, creating 42 youth employment opportunities across the year.
