The Line are a supporting partner of the East London Art Prize, run by Bow Arts.

The East London Art Prize celebrates and promotes the incredible talent and diversity of art made in the cultural hive of east London. Supporting an entire cohort of artists through each two-year cycle with exhibitions, events, mentoring and skills training, the Prize awards an exhibition prize of a £15,000 cash prize and exhibition at Bow Arts’ Nunnery Gallery and a residency prize of a year-long studio residency with Bow Arts.

As a prize that celebrates east London, The Line is part of a network of local partners whose support provides further opportunities for artists and exciting collaborations for the Prize’s ambitious event programme. In 2025 our events included Storytelling and creating coloured origami boats with Joseph Ijoyemi and Exploring architecture, public space and sculptures with Gusty Ferro, both artists from the 2025 Prize’s artist cohort.
