Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park covers 560 acres (2.5 sq km), making it larger than Hyde Park, and the equivalent of about 300 football pitches.
It took 46,000 construction workers to build the Olympic Park and Village and for the Games themselves 70,000 people volunteered as ‘Games Makers’.
