Seals in the Thames
Grey seals, harbour seals and porpoises regularly visit the Thames. They feed on fish in the estuary and can sometimes be seen basking on sandbanks in the outer Thames at low tide.
The Port of London Authority estimates there are 3,500 seals that call the river home.
