‘One Step at a Time’ is The Line’s new programme of wellbeing walks, running from June to September 2021.

These free guided walks explore the wildlife, art and heritage along The Line in Newham. Walks run once a week for 4-week blocks, with a chance to sign up for another 4 weeks after completing the first.

The aim is to improve fitness and wellbeing, particularly after a year of lockdowns and isolation. The walks will enable people to discover The Line and to enjoy some company and refreshments together, in a Covid-secure way.

Walks will run on Thursday afternoons from 10 June 2021 and start from The Print House, Stratford High Street, E15.

There will be two types of walk:
1. Ambler – meeting 12pm – gentle paced with regular  pauses to sit, reflect and make conversation (20 mins max walking time)
2.  Explorer – meeting 2.30pm – medium paced along the waterways, with varied terrain, and time to talk with others (45 mins max walking time)
