‘One Step at a Time’ is The Line’s programme of wellbeing walks, running from June to September 2021.
Please note our last walk this year is 30 September 2021 at 12pm.

These free guided walks explore the wildlife, art and heritage along The Line in Newham. Walks run once a week for 4-week blocks, with a chance to sign up for another 4 weeks after completing the first.

The aim is to improve fitness and wellbeing, particularly after a year of lockdowns and isolation. The walks will enable people to discover The Line and to enjoy some company and refreshments together, in a Covid-secure way.

Walks are at 12pm Midday on Thursday afternoons  and start from The Print House, Stratford High Street, E15.

They are gentle paced with regular pauses to sit, reflect and make conversation. We walk for approximately 20-30 minutes then stop for refreshments before returning to the start point.

To find out more and sign up, please email wellbeing@the-line.org or call 020 3488 9250. You can refer yourself or speak to your local prescriber or link worker. (Prescribers – please call or email for more information or find us on the Joy App. A referral form and flyer to promote the walks are also included on this webpage).
